The National Elementary Honor Society recognizes outstanding students who demonstrate excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, citizenship, and character.
Students in the National Honor Society have to complete 60 hours of community service for the school year. Some of those service hours include Safety Patrol, Red Ribbon Week, helping at Harvesters, collecting food for food drives, and making dog toys for a local animal shelter.
Students also have to maintain a 3.0 GPA all through the school year, and attend weekly meetings.
